This is my first attempt to write a novel. I wrote it so I could give a copy of it to the thousands of children that come to Camp Penuel every year. It is a short story about gangs, angles and lost treasure. It stars a young inner-city boy that wants to be tough like his dad, but God sends His angels to keep him from doing anything wrong. As fate will have it, the kid goes to camp where he learns that the Confederates had buried a million dollars in gold coins somewhere near the camp. The question is, will the angles help him find the treasure, or is there something more valuable than gold?
