One by one the human inhabitants of Mesa Verde are disappearing and being replaced by cattle! And it seems that no one and no place is truly safe from the Bovine Invaders.
Where though, did all the cows come from? And more importantly, where did all the people go?
Could it all have something to do with the sudden arrival of hundreds of emotionless Milkmen delivering free, irresistible milk to every person in town?
Or does the answer lie at the mysterious industrial complex located on the outskirts of town, the one that’s been busy installing advanced electronic devices like orbital tracking arrays and powerful communication systems?
Determined to find out, 14-year-old Dwayne Prescott and best friend Mark Cooper decide to follow a mid-night cattle drive in the hopes that the herd might lead them to the answers
But they’ve forgotten the old saying: “Be careful what you seek because you may not like what you find.” And they soon discover that the invasion plan goes well beyond Mesa Verde, or even California.
