Are you interested in publishing a book others will enjoy reading?
Are you interested in publishing a book that you can be proud of?
Are you interested in doing all this and saving time while you are doing it?
Then you’ve come to the right place. This is an easy-to-read book showing writers tips and tricks to make the job of creating their masterpiece easier, more cost effective to create and more enjoyable for the reader.
This book is not intended to teach you how to write a book. After all you are a writer so I’m assuming you already know how to do that. Nor is it intended to teach you to become an expert typist or word processor. Your job is to write books, not to become a typist. It is meant to help you save time and money while creating your masterpiece.
The information in this book is the result of many hours of research and personal use. After writing my own books, transcribing and formatting countless manuscripts for writers, speakers, internet marketers, researchers and others, and formatting numerous books for publication, I have put together these tips to help other writers avoid the mistakes I have found in these various manuscripts.
It is my belief that by avoiding any one of these mistakes and following the tips and suggestions listed here, writers can save themselves time and money: time if they are formatting their books themselves and money if they are hiring others to do the work for them.
The tips and suggestions listed here are for Microsoft Word 2003. Adjustments in methods may be necessary if using other versions of Word, but the tips are just as valuable.
This is what one client had to say when she received help to get her book published:
“Patsy Bellah has been invaluable to my publishing my first book. I learned from her all the things I didn't know that I didn't know. She made it possible for me to do it myself. Thank you for that Patsy. Next time I will hire you to do the entire process and save my energy for what I enjoy doing, writing my next book." Merle Singer
