You are invited to enjoy the experience of a journey which commences in wartorn England, leads on to the Yorkshire Moors, Derbyshire Peak District and thence to the Lakeland and Scottish mountains. You also visit the centre of crime fighting in Middlesbrough, play Championship Bridge with Omar Sharif in the casinos of Monte Carlo and the Jazz centre of New Orleans. You visit the edge of the World, and the wild fascinating stormy waters of the Hebrides. After many years hard training you are able to successfully race against the world’s best athletes in locations as varied as the high Andes of Ecuador, the vineyards of Mediterranean France, the turbulent waters of the St Lawrence Seaway and encounter Hurricane Katrina and grizzly bears in the USA. Exhausted you will end your journey in the hospitable arms of a hot and dusty Mexico and the welcoming presence of 24 hour endurance cyclists in Northern England.
