In this lesson, we focus on foods and parts of a place setting. To make the words more manageable, the book is broken into smaller food group: Fruits & Vegetables (22), Meat, Grain & Dairy (7), Meals & Snacks (5), Desserts (6) and Parts of the Table Setting (9). Each group has its own "Learn" and "Practice" flashcard sets to make learning easy.
The "Learn" section has everything you need to teach your child Portuguese including:
- The English word
- A large picture of the object
- The Portuguese word (including the article)
Then, to test how much your child has learned, switch to the "Practice" section which works just like normal flash cards. The first page shows the color or shape and turning the "page" shows the same photo, this time with the Portuguese word!
Plus at the end of the book is a convenient reference lists of all the words in the book!
