Alexandra Grant is a pseudonym. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1989 and has worked in many different clinical areas of nursing. She is currently working as a Practice Nurse in a GP surgery and as a clinical nurse teacher training other nurses and healthcare professionals. This is her first book and it is a memoir of her nursing events, encounters and incidents which are vivid memories which at times were happy and also sad and she would be delighted for people to read her book and share and comment on her experiences. All names have been changed to protect the identity of colleagues, patients and their families.
