    About

Claude Monet was a famous French painter and this book is all about his life. The book talks about how Monet first learned to paint and how he helped create his own style of painting, impressionism. It also explains what impressionism is and how hard it was for that style of painting to catch on at first. The book highlights some of Monet’s most famous works, which were almost all of outdoor settings. It also talks about the big effort made to restore Monet’s house and beautiful gardens following the end of World War II.
