    This Modern Martial Arts - Warrior Training book is a condensation of 45 years of open-minded mixed martial arts study. It's real through, martial arts studied for 5 decades. After all, where did those MMA techniques come from? Not the UFC, even if I am a fan and enjoy their fights.

    Since your brain is in control of the physical techniques your body performs, I offer food for your brain. My formal training began in wrestling in 1965, boxing in 1968, tae kwon do in 1969, Japanese jujitsu and judo in 1971 and 1973. I competed for 23 years in wrestling, boxing, black belt judo and as former rated black belt karate fighter while competing in USPSA handgun tournaments, and distance running races. My experience as a Hapkido assistant under Grand Master Ji, Han Jae, and student of Ed Parker's style of kenpo karate, as well as kick boxing, kung fu, and other martial arts styles gives me an experienced perspective that very few others can claim.

    There is NO SUBSTITUTE for EXPERIENCE. This book is a collection of training methods, wisdom, philosophies, creeds, rules, and inspirational personal backgrounds, of many of the Worlds Best Fighters and Warrior types. I didn’t create this information, or invent a new style, I just took the time and energy to seek out the knowledge, and now share it with you. From Apaches to wrestling, it contains a wealth of invaluable life saving, or competition winning strategies, techniques and ideas. Learn from those who have fought and defeated, survived and conquered others on the street, in the ring, Octagon, or on the battlefield.

    Regardless of your martial arts background or experience, there’s something for anyone to learn from these Warriors. This book is meant to supplement and to fill the gaps in the series of DVD’s being produced by James Dolmage. Some knowledge of physical techniques is most effectively conveyed with video, and some wisdom for your brain is more effectively conveyed in written form.
