Google’s Challenges in Enterprise Technology Management for Mobile and Web

This paper analyzes a production issue on launching the pagination feature for Google's Android developer console. Comparing to the successful launch of the new user interface (UI) of Google AdSense, the paper suggests that Google should have an enterprise technology management function that works. The effective enterprise management function, a manifestation disciplined passion in corporate culture, may prevent users and investors from losing confidence in Google's brand which is a major driver of Google's stock values. It may also prevent Google engineers from running into stressful situations such as fixing production defects in holidays.
