    "Together with the Sermon delivered in St. Paul's Church, Augusta, Ga., on June 29, 1864: Being the Feast of St. Peter the Apostle." — The complete record of the funeral services for Confederate Bishop-Soldier ("The Fighting Bishop" — West Point graduate and Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of Louisiana) Lt.-Gen. Leonidas Polk, D.D. (1806-1864), commander of the First Corps of the Army of Tennessee, killed in Georgia during the Atlanta Campaign, on June 14, 1864 by a cannon ball passing through his chest while scouting the enemy's position. — The Funeral Address was delivered in Augusta, Ga. by his intimate friend and colleague the Right Rev. Stephen Elliott, Bishop of Georgia (37th Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America and Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the Confederate States). It has been written that "Polk's funeral service . . . was one of the most elaborate during the war" and Elliott's delivery was "a stirring funeral oration." — 28 pages.
