This book is a quick-reference manual to CYGWIN and shows (a) how to install cygwin, (b) which packages to install, and (c) provides an overview of cygwin, commands and capabilities in a very small amount of time. The book is designed to save time. It was designed with junior engineers in mind- to let them go off on their own, install+become familiar with cygwin without interaction from their mentors. If you are familiar with cygwin and unix already the manual will race you through installation and give you a quick overview of commands to play with. Shortcuts and tips are included to facilitate use of a command-line environment inside of GUI based windows.
