    About

(An Unofficial Pokemon Go Diary Book for Kids Ages 6 - 12 (Preteen)
    Book 1: The Gift
Dustin is your average trainer. At ten years old, he's finally got the chance to make his dream come true. To celebrate his coming of age, his family has gifted him a Pokemon egg.
Poke eggs are very esteemed gifts and is a great way to start out your own Pokemon journey. But being a young boy can be difficult, as an aspiring trainer, Dustin only hopes to get strong and fierce looking Pokemon.
Things changed when his Pokemon egg hatched - into a leaf type Pokemon. No sooner, his dreams of being a top tier trainer have been quashed and he doubts why he'd get such a weak Pokemon at the start.
With so many gyms in the area and only two Pokemon to battle, what can Dustin do to be a better Pokemon trainer? How will he learn to appreciate the birthday gift that was given to him?
    Book 2: Exploring Alola
Dustin and Derek venture forth to new regions to start their Pokémon journey. The region is the newly opened Alola islands.
The Alola islands are new to the international eyes of the Pokémon teams thus they haven’t had their share of Mystic, Valor and Instinct. Despite that, they have a rich culture that stems down to their growth through the years of coexisting with Pokémon.
Dustin has already accepted his goal to become the best Pokémon breeder in the world but deep down he wants to keep strong Pokémon. His team is not too shabby but facing against his brother does show how big their difference is when it comes to power.
With the help of Professor, Dustin begins to understand that there’s a bigger picture to being a Pokémon trainer. Despite his dream to be the best Pokémon breeder in the world, he’s always looks for strength and they’re usually found in fierce-looking Pokémon.
Going along the introduction of tropical Pokémon and the island trials to test his mettle, how does one define strength especially to a new trainer?
Book 3: Choosing the Right Team
After their little adventure around Alola, Dustin has realized that strength isn’t always about power and brawn. Maybe it was the change of scenery or maybe it was the very distinct culture of Alola that changed him for the good. Whatever the true reason is, Dustin has realized that his definition of strength isn’t the conventional one.
The duo journeys to Kalos, a region known for its upscale lifestyle in living along with Pokemon. While the place can be a little too extravagant for the brothers, that’s not what they’re here for. At Professor Willow’s request, they journey to Kalos to check out the unearthed ruins of an ancient Pokemon weapon.
It’s here that they met Serena, a Kalos trainer who also happens to the current Kalos Pokemon champion. She’s not as strong as she looks and Dustin can’t help but admire how simple a Pokemon champion could be. With the new scenery and Pokemon to catch, it can be a little daunting for the young trainer.
He’s still got a long way to go if he wants to defeat his brother but maybe with Kalos, he can make that goal more reachable. Aside from that, maybe some Pokemon could also help him on being a better Pokemon breeder since he has a lot of experience under his belt.
For now, he’ll have to look for the right team to reach his dreams, and defeating Derek. But with so many Pokemon and a lot of types to consider, just which ones could work for him? Can Professor Sycamore help him out on better understanding just which Pokemon can really complete his team?
