The funny part about nudism that gets me is the philosophy. There are nudist resorts, campgrounds, membership clubs, etc. where entire families go to be nude outdoors because they believe it has a freeing, natural effect on the soul.
The problem with this is that I’m a normal guy. I get aroused at the sight of any attractive woman. If she’s naked that makes it doubly so. You can’t separate sex and lust from nudism. It’s a flawed concept.
They try to say nudism is a non-sexual philosophy of love of nature.
What about all those closet child-sex addicts who drag their families to nudist places just so that they can see naked kids to fuel their fantasies?
I’ve been to nudist beaches and walked around naked. What’s the big deal about wearing a pair of shorts?
I simply don’t buy it that you can separate nudism from thoughts of lust.
Having said that, the rest of the book is pro-nudism resources.
There’s a chapter of nudist porn websites, basically people filming naked people at nudist resorts. It’s probably all staged because it’s pretty illegal to film naked kids. They call it child porn. You can’t have naked kids around then film a softcore nude porn video. It has to be all adults. I saw some of it. Those girls looked pretty young to me, barely eighteen, playing volleyball, swimming, walking around.
There’s a chapter on sex outdoors like sex on the beach, like that famous movie beach sex scene in From Here to Eternity with Burt Lancaster. Sex on the beach is actually kind of messy with dry and wet sand all over your body and your orifices.
Outdoor recreation books are at #796.54 at the library. There could be a nudist book there.
Nudism/ naturism is people who like to enjoy the great outdoors with their clothes off with allegedly no sexual overtones simply the love of nature unfettered.
Nudists are generally natural people who like the sun and feel a primal connection to our ancient ancestors who probably lived naked most of the time outdoors, at least in warm climates.
It has a freeing effect on the soul. Some people like it because it frees you from all worldly pretense, no clothes, no watches, no ID cards, no status symbols, etc.
Nudists say it helps them be themselves freely and purely. It's basically a lifestyle and a state of mind.
The golden rule is to respect others in your pursuit of nudity. Do it indoors or buy obscure property so as not to offend anyone who might inadvertently see you from a public place because there are decency laws in most places meaning if somebody can see you naked from the street, you're breaking the law.
When you go to a nudist function/ resort, go there to enjoy life in the raw, not to get laid. It's not a swinging scene. There are swinging-nudist clubs for that. There's a clear distinction between the two. Most nudist clubs are nudist only. Very few are swinging clubs.
There are many families involved. People do the same things they do at a regular summer camp only naked, things like swimming, sunbathing, boating, card games, hiking, volleyball, tennis, eating, etc.
Sexually explicit people are not welcome in most nudist clubs. In a normal nudist club, it's platonic socializing among people who want to be naked. The group law rules and this is what they want. Masturbators, people who stare and pick-up artists are not welcome.
Single people are accepted at some places but generally discouraged because it's assumed they're there to flirt.
Some nudist clubs and resorts may be youthful oriented and swinger oriented but most aren't.
Every club is different. Check them out to see what you like. They check you out and decide whether you fit in. The same rules of courtesy and socializing apply everywhere.
Don't intrude or wear out your welcome by being too friendly and overbearing. Be nice and the people who like you will want to make friends with you. Don't stare at body parts.
