Leo is an ordinary boy who dreams of being an explorer, but when his Grandma gives him a special painting he ends up on a magical and multicultural adventure that is far more than he bargained for.

Cringe as he dodges The Dumb Waiter, battles with a wacky never-ending staircase and much more. First and foremost this is an exciting, fast moving adventure story. Woven into the plot and waiting to be discovered, however, are over twenty famous works of art from Michelangelo to Monet, Fragonard to Fuseli and Vermeer to van Gogh. All the illustrations are large, high resolution, full colour images. Fiona is a professional, award winning, portrait artist. As well as writing books on art she runs a website full of free advice for artists. She has a PhD and worked for many years in scientific research. She also holds a PTLLS teaching certificate. She lives in the UK with her husband and eight-year-old daughter.
