The manuscript of Wegwood and his times was written we believe, to commemorate the centenary of the great potters death in 1895.
It was found in the remains of a cottage that was being demolished in Normacot Stoke on Trent. Time and the conditions it was found in made it almost illegible.
The unknown author manages to portray in Rhyme a brief biography of josiah Wedgwood and the period he lived in.
