My name is Nicholas Black and together with the team over at Surreal.Media we have published over 80 books for various authors including myself.

Being the author of the book is a very interesting process, from the concept of your book, through the trials and tribulations of writing it, and finally to that fateful publishing day when your book is available to the world. Sure, there's a lot of steps along the way that include proofreading, editing, numerous notes and outlines and re-edits… But the process is important and you learn every step along the way.
And we want to publish your book! This isn't a scam, it's no gimmick. There are tons of writers out there who might write short stories, poems, adventures, monologues, nightmares, thrillers, erotica… And a ton of other less well-known genres and writing styles. We want all of it.

We will give you a very simple way to prepare your material and send it to us. Email simplifies all of these processes, and with most authors (if your material has already been proofread and edited) we will have you published in less than seven days. And that includes getting a cover design for your book and all of that stuff.

We are going to publish your material as long as it is not hateful, harmful, discriminatory, or racist. We definitely believe in freedom of speech, but since we choose who we are going to publish we are not going to promote material that is hurtful to any people, groups, or individuals.

You will have both a Kindle version of your book as well as a paperback, which we will create. If you feel like having author copies delivered to you we can also facilitate that — especially if you are on the speaking circuit and you need books to take to book signings.
We are a small publisher, but all of our team are made up of authors, so we understand the business from an independent perspective as good as anyone. Can we guarantee that your book is a phenomenal success? Well, we certainly hope so, but the reality is that books take on a life of their own.
