I feel honored and privileged to write a book about warehousing and supply chain management for Amazon kindle publishing. This is my first book and it will greatly impact as well as contribute to the field of strategic supply chain management and materials management and inventory control to be precise.
This book therefore looks at the materials accommodation and housing concept with reference to Kenyan market place as well as the east African region as a whole. With this book, I want to offer the reader a solid background of what is warehouse and stores management and its relative importance to the supply chain management concept as a whole. The book introduces new concepts into the materials accommodation management such as the history of materials accommodation in Kenya, the 5 B’s of inventory management and lastly and not the least the safari chain model. This book is suitable to both new beginners who are pursuing a course in any thematically areas in supply chain management as well as to professionals in the field who want to increase their understanding of the field.
In order to continuously improve my book, I would appreciate any suggestions, comments and reviews. Kindly contact me through kabuthi.kabinga@gmail.com.
