Viking Quest Series

In Raiders From the Sea, Viking raiders capture Bree and her brother Devin and take them from their home in Ireland. In The Invisible Friend, Bree arrives in Norway and is sent to work as a slave for the family of Mikkel, her Viking captor. She struggles to adjust, feeling worthless and disrespected, and wondering why God wants her in Norway. Her prayers are answered when she is given the opportunity to teach Mikkel's grandparents to read using an illuminated Bible stolen from an Irish monastery.
