The venomous infection gives Lorabella special abilities but causes her mother’s death. Her special abilities include enhanced strength, the ability to transform into starlight, and glowing eyes. Forsaking her father’s military demands, Lorabella becomes a GNA Special Forces soldier and a secret agent.
Lorabella’s father General Rick Wiles plots to control her choices and pushes her into the arms of his protégé Major Justin Mitchell. Though, another captures Lorabella’s heart, she forsakes her own desires to abide by her father’s wishes because she’s looking for the culprit of a plot within and she knows that her father is somehow involved. Lorabella uncovers the betrayal that drove Demetrios to wage a war on the line of Vela Kurv, (Lorabella’s ancestral line). It is marked through her mother by a genetic birthmark laid out in the Constellation Vela. Lorabella finds out she is tied to the formation of man through the court of Vela Kurv.
