Under Drake’s Flag (Annotated): A Tale of the Spanish Main

This novel depicts the struggle between Great Britain and Spain for supremacy of the high seas through the eyes of a sixteenth-century teenager, Ned Hearne. Along with his friends, young Ned has one adventure after another as he accompanies the daring English mariner Francis Drake on many voyages of discovery across the Pacific. Ned also witnessed the great naval battle between the English fleet and the Spanish Armada.
