Box Turtle is tired of living in a valley full of traffic and trash. When a passing car knocks him off the road, he decides to follow his friend Gray Squirrel’s advice and go to The Mountain - where the air and water are pure and there are no cars or people. Along the way, they are joined by Black Snake and Raccoon. Their journey takes them over hills, through a cave, and across a raging river. On top of The Mountain, they meet a very wise red eft, who advises Box Turtle to return to his home in the valley. Will he go back?
