Together Forever is a genealogical study of the family of Adam Ivy Morgan and Eva Lucinda Stoner both of whom were born during the Civil War and died in the 1920s. The ancestral family trees of Adam and Eva are presented beginning with the period of the Revolutionary War up to their birth and include principally the Morgan and Stoner families of Rowan County, North Carolina. Their descendants up to the modern day are tracked. The book is more than a simple accounting of the family trees and includes extensive analysis of historical records as well as oral tradition. While a genealogical tract, Together Forever is also the story of a family formed and forged by the cataclysm of the American Civil War.
