Preface
In many ways this book is about grief - loss and impermanence.
I sometimes believe taking photographs is my way of grasping - holding on and not letting go.
Nothing remains static. The images I capture reemerge as something completely different right after I have taken them.
Such a lesson. There is no capturing as the captured transforms and becomes something utterly unique, different and new.
Or perhaps it fades, decays, atrophies, withers and dies.
Nothing lasts.
Grief and sorrow may be about holding on.
Awakening is perhaps about letting go.
Acceptance is a way of peace.
Thank you for taking this journey with me.
