The Waiting Room

Clare is 17 and a little odd. When she is visited by a young man that no-one else can see she enlists her best friend Alex to help her make sense of it all. The Ghost Boy as she first calls him, uses sign language to communicate with her and so she and Alex decide to try to learn sign language. To help them with their task they go to work as holiday placements in a school for the deaf in Scotland. This is where they encounter far more than they bargained for.
