The Swallow and the Song thrush

This beautiful short story for children and adults alike, reveals the intimate relationship between a Swallow and a sweet little Song thrush. They fly and forage together during the summer months, always looking out for one another. As winter approaches the Swallow sadly must leave his lady and fly south to be with his friends. Returning in spring, where the Song thrush is always waiting for him. Returning from one particular winter in warmer climes, he returns with a present, not just any present, but one from the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. It becomes such a talking point that people come from miles around to see it.
