The Sound of the Gun

This is part 3 and is Day 2 of Aviation Officer Candidate School (AOCS) in Pensacola, Florida on a hot and humid April afternoon. I quickly begin to become comfortable with the constant barrage of instructions (if that is possible). All of my physical and mental preparations begin to pay off as the class is put through the initial physical testing. I'm leading the class halway through the O-Course when I suddenly get the strange feeling I may not finish the race.
