The poignant story of Bryan 'Yogi' Davies who, during a rugby scrum at a match in Bala in 2007, broke his neck and was paralyzed. The book follows his day-to-day struggle to come to terms with the horrific incident. This is the remarkable story of his dignified struggle to regain the semblance of a new life largely confined to his hospital bed for eighteen months and latterly to a motorised wheelchair once he was able to move back home. Sadly, after battling courageously for a period of six years and five months, Yogi passed away at his home aged 56 years. This autobiography has an unusual arrangement. Each chapter, and there are a dozen in total, is arranged in three sections. The first is Yogi's very honest assessment of his condition, battles, progress, frustrations and setbacks. The second section is Yogi's reminiscences of his life prior to the accident. The third section of each chapter records the moving response of his devoted wife, Susan, as the story unfolds.
