The Pit
Short storyline
This is the story of a young man named Steve. He works hard and tries his best to be a friendly and helpful person. One day, Steve hears a tall tale spread across the village about a gold mine a short distance from the village. Steve is very skeptical at first, but decides to chase down the tall tale anyways. Along his journey, Steve finds much more than he bargained for. The young adventurer finds himself pit against a dangerous world that is out to get him and must strive to survive in the danger he has set foot into. Between monsters, starvation, and trying his best not to get lost throughout the massive cave, Steve pushes onward to try to find the gold mine that so many people seemed to believe in. Is there truly a large stash of gold waiting for him, or was this gold mine nothing more than a contrived myth? As Steve endeavors the journey to discern fact from fiction on this treacherous adventure he has taken upon himself, he learns much about survival, morals, and what truly matters at the end of the day when it is all said and done.
