The Pentangle, AKA “The Family”: five people; four women, one man; ten pairs of relationships, each different, always changing, all pushing the envelope.
It’s London, 1995. The Family has just come through a major trauma and the members have made emotional promises to each other. But they are now under attack by a bitter enemy, hell bent on obtaining satisfaction for having been thwarted in love and convicted of financial fraud. He starts with pranks, but as the year goes on, the attacks become more and more deadly.
Can the relationships within The Family survive the constant sniping at one member or another? How long will it be before one or more breaks ranks?
Meanwhile, The Family continues its upwards rise in the worlds of electronics, design and fashion, taking them to Amsterdam, Paris and California, while trying to keep themselves at arm’s length from “friends” involved in an outrageous pornography venture. And London itself plays a full part, as the action switches from Richmond to Poplar to Kilburn to Mayfair…
The Pentangle is set in the world of the Three’s Company Trilogy, but stands on its own after the end of Part 3.
