The Pain and the Game:

The Pain and the Game is a retrospective look at the life of Damany Hendrix on his 35th birthday.  His love for the game of basketball has caused him and his family much pain and grief.  The game that he has loved so much has been a blessing and a curse.  It has propelled him to emotional heights that he has yet to achieve off the court, and at the same time has caused him to feel the most pain he's ever felt in his young life.  This is the story of a man who has loved a game to the detriment to his own development as a person.  Now he’s sacrificed so much for the game, he has lost so much that he has no choice but to give what he has left to the game that has taken much of his soul.
