There has never been a better time for a book like this to be published.
In the atmosphere of Islamophobia, Muslims are portrayed in a negative light. I have the privilege and the honor to be around some incredible people that are making a giant, positive difference in the world. Some of these people are featured in this book. I wrote this book, or shall I say I interviewed these incredible people because I know that the positive Muslim voices are missing from mainstream media, so why not go out and showcase them myself? As a leader who takes initiative, that is my job.
The stories in this book, are both inspirational and educational.
Muhammad Nuruddeen Lemu, the son of a judge in Nigeria and a Muslim convert, travels the world speaking on leadership, education and the negative impacts of extremism.
Nasema Begum, shares her very personal story about her abusive marriage and how she helps Bangladeshi women overcome adversity.
Hind Adeagbo, a mother of six helps women to overcome their health challenges so they can finally feel empowered.
Nido Abdo, father son, husband and a brilliant marketer. A man who knows how to take your message to the masses and absolutely change your bottom-line.
Cèlin Monique Childs, mom and super woman, who is making a huge difference with her natural beauty products and helping women launch their own businesses.
Nadia Bhatti, a pharmacist by trade, mom and wife helping other pharmacists to get jobs, so they are happy and feel wonderful every Monday morning.
Nabillah Farooq, helps women manage symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She also helps them with fertility and pregnancy issues.
Saiyyidah Zaidi, homeschooling her children, traveling the world with her husband and two kids building businesses online, having a laptop lifestyle.
Farzan Parupia, has multiple e-commerce businesses and is a certified business consultant, he shares his knowledge and expertise, showing others how to make money online.
Khaliah Hall Trawally, in the real estate business, breaking the glass ceiling and putting herself out there in a way that we couldn’t possibly imagine.
How do you listen to these stories of Muslim entrepreneurs, icons, and influencers, and not under-stand that these people are incredible human beings, leaders making a giant difference in the world?
I am proud to say that I associate myself with these people. These are my friends, these are my colleagues, these are people that I look up to, and I know that you are going to enjoy every ounce of the inspiration in this book.
