After discovering the Endeavour, an abandoned star-ship from the future, astronaut Jason Reeves uses all of the high-tech military equipment aboard it to create a para-military organisation called Protectors. Their mission is to bring to justice criminal gangs, terrorists and anyone else who is responsible for bringing death and misery to people in all parts of the world.
As part of their on-going operations, Protectors capture Victor Chandler, a major West Coast crime boss. They hand him over to the police, only to find him released on bail a few days later. But other unknown forces are also at play, and soon afterward, Chandler is assassinated by a Rocket Propelled Grenade.
While investigating the demise of Chandler, Protectors learn that somebody is buying up vast quantities of gold from all over the world and shipping it to Switzerland. Questions then arise as to how much they have accumulated and what do they intend to do with it all? And in addition to that, what is the connection between this activity and a drug-dealing crime boss?
Then a startling discovery is made, revealing a conspiracy to bring an end to democracy and government by the people, in favor of a new world order…
