The farmer and his family came to national prominence in the aftermath of the severe snowstorm which hit their farm in the Carneddau mountain range of north Wales in March 2013.
Star of the recent TV series The Hill Farm, he has appeared on television and radio countless times promoting countryside issues. He has also appeared on Mountain with Griff Rhys Jones, Fferm Ffactor, Snowdonia 1890, and School of Hard Knocks.
