The Good Thief: A Story of Christ

This book tells the entertaining and inspiring story of Gestas and Dismas: the two thieves crucified with Christ on the cross. Tricked into helping the Sanhedrin or Jewish Council spy on Jesus, they eventually have misgivings, and in an act of heroic bravery break into the Holy Temple in Jerusalem in order to redeem themselves.
