The Ghost of Fort Leavenworth

When an egotistical young captain is shot and killed at Fort Leavenworth, suspicion turns to a former bomb technician who is struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Major Benjamin Casper has only fragmented memories of events leading up to the murder, and reaches out to an old friend for help. Lieutenant Jamie Sharon agrees to defend him, but soon finds that she’s forced to confront her own turbulent history with the disturbed major, which includes an unresolved allegation of adultery. Lieutenant Sharon wrestles with the moral dilemma of defending someone who may be guilty of a brutal homicide, but refuses to acknowledge the role that war has played in his episodes of violence and slow unraveling.
