The First Miracle is a story of hope transformed by innocence into powerful faith that takes a crippled boy into a world of miracles.
When Eliakim the orphan shepherd sees a glorious star fall on an abandoned stable outside Bethlehem, he knows his life is about to change. Before her death, his mother had filled his heart with yearning for the coming of the Messiah, and now as he hears the Angel's call to go adore The Newborn King, the fire of hope ignites in his lonely and abandoned heart. This fire is then quickly extinguished by his uncle.
Cold-hearted and bitter, his uncle Japhet sees the clubfooted boy as a burden left to him by his dead brother, and he treats him as one of the work animals he owns. He orders Eliakim to stay behind and watch the flock as he, reluctantly and faithlessly, answers the Angel's call to adore The Divine Child.
Heaven however has a different plan for the boy. The Angel reappears and sends him and his pet lamb on a dangerous night journey that will transform his life and change his destiny.
