The Famous Five (Activist)

This biography of The Famous Five is a high-interest, low-vocabulary book for adolescents and adults with limited literacy skills. Many people have not heard of The Famous Five. Yet, these five women fought for women's rights in the early 1900s. They helped women win the right to vote and serve in Canada's Senate. The Famous Five also worked to change the property rights law, so that women could own property.
