“The Case of Jack Ruby” discusses the life of Jack Ruby from his dysfunctional childhood growing-up in foster homes to his death in prison. Jack Ruby is most known for his vigilante style of justice taking the life of Lee Harvey Oswald who would assassinate John F Kennedy a short two days prior. Ruby who would drop out of school at an early age would instantly become involved in underground crime. There may be more to the story of Jack Ruby in how these criminal ties would lead him to Dallas even before Kennedy was ever shot. Large payouts to Ruby may lead one to believe perhaps Ruby was not, in fact, acting as a vigilante with his decision to take the life of Lee Harvey Oswald.
