This is a reproduction pattern of the antique sampler sewn in 1823. The original sampler was in excellent condition. It is an outstanding example of needle art work from a little girl learning her letters. Additional research and input from family members has enabled Susan to put together a brief history of the stitcher who completed this extraordinary work.
