This was book was created for the British roads and driving environment (driving on the left hand side of the road and in a manual car) but the lessons and structure can be adapted to suit any country, as the British driving test standards are deemed to be among the highest in the world. The purpose of this book is to offer structured guidance for someone who would like to teach the skill of driving to others as you do not need to be a rocket scientist, (ignore this if you are a rocket scientist) as it is a skill that you already have. Teaching someone to drive can be a very rewarding experience. I have included in the lessons all the main skills required to learn how to drive but, it is impossible to include every single aspect of driving. Although I have called this book Teach the kids to drive it can be used by anyone wishing to teach someone how to drive. I hope you enjoy teaching the skill of driving to others as much as I do.
