Tales From The Vale

True life stories of growing up in post-war Scotland in the small mill-town of Darvel in Ayrshire. All the events and characters are true to my best recollection and cover a timespan of the 1950's to the 1970's. Most of the stories are written in the local East Ayrshire dialect and the colourful language expressed is how we, as callow youths, spoke.
