Blue Schwartz . . . Jewel Thief?
Thirteen-year-old Blue Schwartz has turned her babysitting into a very successful business. But now the man she babysits for has accused her of stealing a priceless necklace. He’s giving her until the end of the week to hand it over, or else he’s going to call the police!
Blue would never steal anything, especially an ancient Egyptian necklace, but she’s in big-time trouble if she can’t find it—or find out who really stole it. On top of that, her horrible teacher is giving her a hard time about a food report that’s due, and even though Blue loves to cook, how can she work on her report when she has a mystery to solve?
With time running out, Blue turns to her best friend Yvonne for help, and as she follows the clues step by step, she might just track down a criminal as mysterious as the missing necklace.
For middle readers age 10 and up.
This book was originally published under the title Blue Schwartz and Nerfertiti’s Necklace
About the Author:
