'So who do you love now?'’ is a drama and suspense short film script, about the tug-of-war attraction between two bisexual men with tortured souls, who find love in the most unconventional of situations; the underground club scene. Both stubbornly struggle to admit their affection yet cannot let go of it, which leads to making risky decisions.
It focus on Mitchell, a 25 year old man who holds a secret of an abusive childhood who masks the pain through hard-core clubbing. However he is trying to find how to not only love others, but also himself.
The other protagonist is Stefan, the bouncer of the nightclub Mitchell regularly goes to, who also has a traumatic past of being in an abusive relationship. Stefan has learnt to deal with his pain but struggles, yet perseveres with trying to help Mitchell open up. Both are in love but are stubborn to admit it as this is not the time or place it happens.
As Mitchell’s is still suffering in silence, with various disillusions, and pushing away genuine love for another. He cannot take the risk of his love being unrequited.
Mitchell continues to indulge in the clubs with many temptations to excess as a form of releasing tension but self-destruction. This indulgence through drug use leads him into becoming psychotic and narcissistic. His develops a razor sharp attitude and the illusions he encounters in reality through ghostly visions lead into facing reality.
Stefan does not give on chasing Mitchell to make him admit his love but things take a turn we don’t expect. Things do get better and worse when Mitchell makes a decision which is biggest risk of all. Something’s got to give in order to make a sacrifice. But who’s to blame?
