Anyone who has already read my novel “Hello Gorgeous” should be aware that this work is very similar in a SUBSTANTIAL portion of the beginning chapters.
HOWEVER, at about page 5 you’ll already begin to notice some subtle differences and later in the book a very noticeable and distinct deviation in the plot occurs and the story of Tom Milchner and Father Adrian Malone takes a complete and dramatically different turn from that presented in “Hello Gorgeous.”
If you liked “Hello Gorgeous” I believe you will also enjoy reading this novel.
"SMALL WORLD" tells the story of Tommy Milchner, a young and naively innocent thirteen-year old who believes and practices without question the teachings of the Catholic Church. Tommy's life is suddenly thrown into turmoil when forced to acknowledge his homosexuality in no uncertain terms through the direct actions of his best friend, Jimmy Sarantini, and soon after those of his parish priest, Father Adrian Francis Malone.
Scandal rocks the very core of the local parish, resulting in a drastic life change for both Tommy and Father Malone. Several years later, as Tommy matures into early adulthood, fate intercedes and brings things full circle.
"SMALL WORLD" is a story that begins in scandal and ends in lasting love.
