Shinigami

Saionji Kusonoki, is a descendant of the Great Sage Abe no Seimei and one of the most powerful magic users in Enma-Sama's services. When he's not shepherding souls to the Land of the Dead or back on the Wheel of Rebirth, he's a genial and friendly person who keeps everyone save for his family at arms' length. He appears to wear his heart on his sleeve, but that is merely a shield to hide from the wary whispers behind his back. Kanada Osamu, is the second son of a Shogun who was betrayed by his wife and murdered by her lover. He is the newly chosen Avatar of Azrael, the Angel of Death, and Saionji's new working partner as he gets used to his new responsibilities. His heart is guarded even more fiercely than a dragon's treasure, and his mind is as sharp as the sword he wields. These two are among the most dangerous and powerful shinigami in Enma-Sama's services, and they have a great deal of potential. Hopefully, they can figure out their feelings for each other before those feelings distract them at the most inconvenient time.
