No history of the RAF can be considered complete without a record of the antics of the ground crew, those enlisted men that send their officers to do all the fighting that didn’t occur in bars around the world. This is the cold war, this is front line RAF Germany, this is the cutting edge of Strike Command and all the horrible offensive little unwashed ‘erks that did stuff to keep the planes flying and keep themselves amused. It also contains some of the stuff my Granddad and me Dad did in WWI & WWII, all lies of course, I hope it gives you a laugh for all the tax pounds it cost you.
