Road to Ribblehead

Ribblehead shows the courage and determination of men who had to work in the most difficult conditions building the greatest railway in Britain and the women and children who shared their lives. Except for Ribblehead viaduct and the Bleamoor Tunnel nothing remains to show these people ever existed. This book seeks to resurrect the passion, violence, memory and dramatic circumstances in which they struggled to survive.
