While many will claim that various quarterbacks are the greatest of all time, no other name comes up more often than Peyton Manning's. Simply put, nobody can argue that his record doesn't prove this status. He has received five Most Valuable Player awards for the NFL regular season, which is the most won by any player. He also currently holds records for the most passing yards and most passing touchdowns by any quarterback in history. He runs a no-huddle offense like nobody else’s business. In addition, he was able to turn around the Indianapolis Colts’ losing ways after playing in only his second season with the team. In all but two NFL seasons, he has been able to make it into the postseason and he won two Super Bowls. Nobody can argue that Peyton Manning is not the all-time greatest quarterback to wear an NFL jersey.
Peyton Manning is acclaimed for harnessing a passion and competitiveness for the sport of football greater than anyone has ever seen. In fact, many believe that he is compulsively obsessed with winning. Growing up with a father who played professional football as an NFL quarterback with the New Orleans Saints for most of his career, along with having two brothers who were also extremely passionate about football—Peyton was practically bred for the sport.
