While Earth is under fire from a monstrous race of aliens called the Reves, a second race of aliens, the Flieursk, save a handful of humans, among them a sister and brother. Twenty-two years later, Orestes Chase has worked his way up the political ladder of his new home in hopes of someday freeing the humans still on Earth from the Reves.
