Olive Shout has not said a single word since she was three-years-old. No one on Crater Island knows why she can’t speak, not even her.
When rubbish-obsessed Rodney Kemp accidentally throws Olive's dictaphone (and only means of communication) on to the rubbish barge, the pair must follow it to the most dangerous island in coral sea; the Heights.
Olive and Rodney battle man-eating snails, dodge angry island guards and avoid the ruthless ‘Trash Kids’.
Little does Olive know, the Heights holds not only her dictaphone, but the key to how she lost her voice.
